Pumping package ready to be painted. If you, like so many in the commercial HVAC industry, are concerned with the increasing shortages in skilled pipe fitting labor, JMP has some good news.  Our HYFAB division has increased its manufacturing capability!

In response to increasing demand for pre-fabricated hydronic systems, HYFAB has relocated all operations to a much larger, fully equipped 27,000 sq. ft. facility at 206 Seneca Drive in Greensboro, NC.  It is one of a few manufacturing facilities in the southeast that is totally dedicated to the design and manufacturing of hydronic packages for HVAC, plumbing, and process applications.

We’re off to a great start.  Demand for HYFAB units has grown significantly.  HYFAB is shipping units coast-to-coast as well as overseas.  Units include everything from simple 2-pump booster systems for small commercial buildings to elaborate heat transfer systems for critical applications like pharmaceutical manufacturing.  A full listing of our HYFAB product capabilities can be downloaded here.

Peace of Mind on a Skid HYFAB welders are ASME and AWS certified.

Specifying pre-fabricated hydronic systems complete with pumps, heat exchangers, control components, etc. all pre-piped and mounted on a single skid, has proven to be one of the most effective ways to ensure start-up success and eliminate jobsite errors.  Design and installation time are reduced and owners have the luxury of single source accountability for multiple components.

HYFAB packages have earned a reputation for reliability and seamless system integration. We use the latest CAD and BIM technology, providing clients with 3-D drawings, detailed pressure drop calculations, specifications, and a schedule for each installation.

Our in-house mechanical engineers not only design each system, but also oversee the fabrication and testing of each unit, all of which is done under one roof. Our welders are ASME and AWS certified and most packages we build are UL listed.  All HYFAB units are hydrostatically tested at our facility.  All booster systems are hydrostatically tested, and tested for flow and function.

All HYFAB units are hydrostatically tested in our state-of-the-art testing lab. That level of quality control is increasingly difficult to maintain with traditionally designed and installed systems.

As always, our ultimate goal is to deliver efficient functionality within the intended system, not just our testing lab. Our engineers possess the full range of expertise to make sure that goal is met.
